Important Event Notice - Girlz on Fire Triathlon & 5K

2020 Girlz on Fire Cancelled due to concerns related to the Coronavirus.

As the COVID-19 situation and directives from the city, state and CDC continue to evolve quickly, we have decided to cancel this year's Girlz on Fire Triathlon-Duathlon-5K. While we were hopeful we could find another date to reschedule the race for 2020, but a suitable weekend could not be found and we have no choice but to completely cancel the live race for 2020.

We know you trained hard and put in countless hours of training to prepare for this race and how disappointing it is to have something like this happen, but these circumstances are, of course, unprecedented.  As per our event policies, no refunds are available, however, we would like to offer you the following options to select from:

1) A free event deferral to next year's race, tentatively scheduled for May 8, 2021.

2) The ability to apply 100% of the entry fee you paid for this race towards any upcoming Sommer Sports event in 2020.

3) Ability to switch your entry into one of the four Cool Sommer Mornings Series events. 

All options will be valid through April 30, 2020.

To select the deferral or entry fee transfer options, log into the event registration page at RunSignup - %RACE_REGISTRATION_LINK% - then go to Profile>>Upcoming Events>>Manage Registration. Please note that this action must be completed by the person who completed the original registration.

Remember, all transfers and deferrals must be completed by April 30, 2020. 

If you purchased a one day license from USA Triathlon, that license will automatically be transferred to next year's race in option 1, or applied to the Cool Sommer Mornings race you selected in option #3.  You can also request a full refund of the one day license fee by emailing membership@usatriathlon.org.
